Senior Portfolio Manager
As the Chief Strategist for the Kothlow Unser Wealth Management Group, Margaret manages investment portfolios for individual private clients, estates, trusts, corporations, endowments, and foundations.
Margaret joined RBC Wealth Management as a Portfolio Management team member in 1994, furthering her thirty-year career with RBC Financial Group. She graduated in Economics from the University of Calgary and has completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program. Margaret is a licensed Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO). She is also a member in good standing of the Vancouver Society of Financial Analysts.
Born in the Maritimes of eastern Canada, Margaret grew up in central Alberta and spent most of her childhood overseas. Currently living in Coquitlam, she shares her life and love of travelling and camping with her hardworking husband, Stephen, two adult children, Gabrielle and Sam, and granddaughter, Elinor. Margaret is a fan of outdoor time, including pickleball, hiking, biking, and camping.
Portfolio Manager
Mathew is part of the Portfolio Management team, building and monitoring client portfolios designed to build and protect the wealth of individuals, families, businesses and other organizations. He also facilitates wealth management and financial planning activities, manages client inquiries, and executes trades.
An interest in finance led Matthew to pursue a BBA in Financial Services and Administration. He consecutively passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and is a CFA charterholder. He also holds a Certified Financial Planner designation, the most widely recognized financial planning designation in Canada and the standard in financial planning. Mathew has been a part of the RBC Wealth Management team since 2015.
Mathew was born and raised in North Vancouver, where he currently lives with his wife, Michelle, and their wonderful daughters, Mikayla and Milliana. Living on the North Shore allows him to enjoy the great outdoors, where he enjoys golfing, hiking and snowboarding.
Associate Advisor & Financial Planner
Kim joined our team in 2023 and came to us from RBC Royal Bank, where he has been a Financial Planner since January 2019. Prior to that, he spent several years at another Canadian financial institution as a Financial Advisor and Private Banker. He studied Economics at Simon Fraser University and Business Administration at Douglas College. Kim also holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designations.
When not in the office, Kim considers himself a big golf enthusiast and world traveller. During the winter, he enjoys snowboarding in the local mountains. He and his wife, Jessica, live in Port Moody and enjoy the many local trails.

Gino comes to our team with a background in business management and operations and an education in business administration and data analytics. He works closely with all team members to assist with client service and administration. Having recently completed the Canadian Securities Course to become licensed as an Investment Representative, he will assist with trade execution and client inquiries.
Born and raised in North Burnaby, Gino resides in Coquitlam with his partner, Fatima. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors at the various parks, hiking and bike trails throughout the Tri-Cities.
